Launched by Coloni Motorsport, 2 days of testing for the Indian Raghunathan with the F.1 McLaren
Coloni Motorsport is pleased to announce that Mahaveer Raghunathan, a 24-year-old Indian driver, completed two days of testing at the Portuguese circuit of Portimao at the wheel of a Formula 1 McLaren in early July. The driver from Chennay drove a MCL35M 2021, climbing into a Formula 1 single-seater for the second time, after the first test in 2021 at the wheel of an Alfa Romeo. McLaren reserve driver Mick Schumacher was also present at the Algarve circuit. A great satisfaction for Coloni Motorsport, which discovered and launched the Indian and follows its management at the highest levels of motorsport. In 2016, the team of Enzo and Paolo Coloni brought Raghunathan to the Auto GP championship, then accompanying him to the Boss GP. The latter category, which in 2017 saw the Indian driver establish himself in the Formula Class. Previously Mahaveer raced in the F.3 Euroseries, while in 2019 he participated in the F.2 championship. The Indian is currently driving a Lamborghini in the Italian Endurance GT series.
